Materials & Ethical Sourcing

Every bespoke piece is handcrafted in my London studio by my own two hands. It is through an open dialogue and transparency that I create these beautiful pieces with and for my clients.

When commissioning your pieces, you can choose from sterling silver and 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, and 22ct yellow or white gold. 

I work with 100% recycled sterling silver and solid gold: this gives us the exquisite quality and durability of precious metals without exploiting our Earth through further mining. It is of the utmost importance to me that both the metals and gemstones I work with are ethically sourced. I do not want to create beauty from materials that were collected through cruelty.

 

About The Process

Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery should feel personal and exciting. For this reason, I always personally guide my clients through the entirety of the creation process and do my best to make them feel at ease.

Once you've submitted a custom jewellery request, I will get back to you within 3-5 working days (this may fluctuate depending on my workload, but I always aim to get back to clients within the week). An initial email consultation will establish your intentions for your piece, your budget, the materials we can use, and the timeframe of the process. I encourage you to share with me any inspiration you may have found to visually communicate what you are drawn to. This can be photos of sketches, gemstones, my previous work, or any imagery you feel can help us understand your vision.

Should you have only a vague idea of what you would like to create together, please do not worry. I am here to help you figure out all the details and can guide you through the design process.

Timeframe

How long a bespoke piece takes depends on the complexity of the design and my workload at the time of your commission. Importantly, I will never rush the process of creating your personal treasure, as I prioritise working with intention and giving each Arkalune piece the care it deserves.

Simple designs may take around 4-6 weeks, whereas more intricate pieces may take 8-12 weeks. Once we have established what you want your bespoke jewellery to be, I will give you an estimate of how long your specific piece will take. Upon request, I can update you throughout the process so you know exactly when you can expect to wear or gift your treasure.

 

Pricing

Bespoke jewellery is an investment that you will cherish for a lifetime. Together, we will create something with deep personal meaning that truly feels like it was made for you. Each piece is crafted with care, using precious materials that will only increase in value as time goes on.

The pricing for sterling silver pieces begins at £210 for simple designs. For gold jewellery, bespoke commissions begin at £800 for daintier pieces crafted from lower carat gold; from here, prices can range into the thousands depending on the chosen metal, gemstones, and the complexity of the design.
